Role Summary:

The Finance Operations Coordinator will have the opportunity to execute financial systems around Accounts Payable, AccountsReceivable, Cash Management, andFinancial Reporting. You’ll work with the Senior FinanceOperations Analyst (SFOA) to identify additional efficiencies at our rapidly growing start-up.Your role will also include the opportunity to contribute to our general operations, collaborate with the sales team at the intersection between sales and finance, and assist with our remote workplace culture programs. While the responsibilities listed below will be the core of your job, we are looking for a high-performing individual who will take initiative and proactively solve new problems.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with SFOA on monthly financial close, collaborating with our outsourced financial team and learning the ins and outs of our financial statements

  • Track where spend fits with monthly and quarterly budgets and flag trends and variances

  • Manage an Accounts Receivable process utilizing Stripe invoicing and interface with customers as needed to execute vendor questionnaires and resolve billing issues and questions

  • Execute our Accounts Payable and become a point of contact with finance and operational vendors

  • Monitor tax tracking information to make sure we remain current on our obligations

  • Assist in our operations by helping to maintain vendor lists and relationships and our internal knowledge base

  • Contribute to building a winning company culture through supporting onboarding, regular events, and employee fulfillment

Qualifications (you must have):

  • Efficient executor of established processes with the ability to identify inefficiencies

  • Experience with accounting and invoicing systems

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Ability and desire to roll up your sleeves

  • Willingness to contribute to ad hoc projects

  • Talent in managing multiple simultaneous projects with a depth of details 

  • Desire to contribute to a fulfilling work environment

  • Strong work ethic, high energy, and a team player

About you (we’d like you to have):

  • Experience in a start-up or high-growth environment 

  • 2-4 years’ experience in operations and/or treasury

We are a remote company with the majority of our team in the San Francisco & Washington D.C area.
