### How does Prefect's pricing work?

Pricing is based on seats and workspaces. We do not charge on compute resources or task volume. This makes our pricing predictable and scalable as your team grows.

### What about usage-based (metered) costs?

We offer predictable pricing that does not fluctuate with usage. Pricing is flat, based on users & workspaces, not per run or task.

### Does Prefect offer a free trial for paid plans?

Our Hobby Tier already includes full access to Prefect's core functionality. If you'd like to explore premium features before upgrading, please contact our team.

### What is included in Prefect's Hobby Tier?

Our Hobby Tier offers full access to Prefect's core functionality for up to five deployed workflows. Teams that reach five deployments won't be able to create new deployments unless they delete an existing deployment or upgrade to a paid plan.

### Can I pay annually?

At this point only our sales-assisted plans have annual pricing.

### Do you offer discounts for startups or academia?

### What payment methods do you accept?
